June 2010 Board Meeting

In attendance: Faith Brasch, Bert Green, Nancy Efrusy, Lori Goldberg, Karen Smart, Suzanne Strichartz

It was discussed that we would employ Davis Outdoor Services to redo our entryway. There were two different options presented by Rob Davis. Both would involve new trees, landscaping and signs to our entranceway on the island and the two sides. The board voted for the least expensive option that still allows the entire area to be redone. The existing plants will be replanted in different areas of the new landscaping.

It was also discussed renewing our lawn contract with Davis Outdoor Services for a period of three more years. Residents have expressed that they are pleased with how the commons look.

A retaining wall will need to be rebuilt along the creek behind a house on Old Timber. We will be getting quotes for this.

A resident would like to put in a soccer goal in the commons area behind the church. The resident will fund the entire cost.

Mulch was put down around the play structure at Turtle Park.
