  1. CALL TO ORDER (Marshall) - Called to order at the Mandell residence at 7:42. In attendance Marshall Mandell, Arnetta Whitehouse, Chuck Eglinton, Michael and Sarah Lang

  2. SECRETARY’S REPORT (Chuck) – March 25, 2002 Report approved and accepted. April was annual meeting. No meetings May and June.

  3. TREASURER’S REPORT (Arnetta) – Approved and accepted.

  4. COMMITTEE REPORTS -

    • COMMONS MAINTENANCE - (Cassandra) -
      • Boulevard Darkened Light Replacement - Additional lights are dimmed. South /Monument light is also out. Update, Chuck replaced all the dimmed monument and boulevard lights.
      • Boulevard Light Pole Repair - Chuck will contact Mr. D'Ascenzo about using concrete and sonitubes to repair the rusted bases of the lamp poles on Old Timber. Mr. D'Ascenzo is currently out of town.
      • Sprinkler Status - new timer installed above ground. Many repairs to sprinkler system because of tree roots. Arnetta will check the south side for pressure leaks get a quote for replacing the line from the valve box.
      • Dandelions - Commons Weed Treatment - To be adressed again next spring.
      • Commons Landscape Repair. Pending - Mr. Meier will review the work for tire rut repair on Friday 7/19. Update: Cost of repair $600
      • Cul de Sac - Chuck cleared out by Meier - make them platable - don't destroy roots - topsoil. Nobles has inexpensive topsoil. - shaded garden.
      • Curb your dog signs (Marshall) - Marshall will follow up.
      • Tennis Court Repair (Michael) - Mike called for quotes and will follow up.
      • Natural Growing Areas in the Commons - (pending, Michael Lang) Korean Church 412x35 feet deeded to Korean Church on Farmington Hills. Arnetta says, $22,299 budgeted for other items in 2003. Mike will follow up with city landscaper to get ideas.

    • FORESTRY - (Barb) - No current forestry issues.

    • COHA (vacant) - Change of address letter sent again.

    • WELCOMING (Suzanne) –

  5. SPRING / SUMMER ISSUES - Directory / Chatter / Summer Party / 3rd week of August - Possible new set of restrictions for Wedgwood Commons including charging residents for cleanup if yard is in disrepair.

  6. OLD BUSINESS -
    • Yard Cleanup at Brennan Residence, #101, 33645 Old Timber - The Langs believe that the home may now be vacant.
    • Tire Damage near Basketball Courts - When landscape repair is completed by James Meier, a letter will be sent to John Landis regarding reimbursement of landscape repair costs.
    • Tree damage on the Old Timber Blvd -A collection letter and copies of supporting documents were sent to the Farida Residence on 7/17/2002. Update: Ms. Farida sent payment for the tree repair.
    • Bridge Repair under Old Timber - Chuck will check with Dan Rooney, City of Farmington Hills.

  7. NEW BUSINESS -
    • Basketball Backboard requires replacement again. Chuck will research vandal proof backboards.
    • Mr. Bechky passed.
    • Langs will research what is needed to place a three way stop at York Ridge and Old Timber.
    • Lot #9 has erected a stockade fence that does not conform to association rules. Chuck will draft a letter and Michael will review it.

2) Glouster Circle near Turtle Park - Trim bushes, remove stones & edging, sod and bark placement around shrubs.

3) Glouster Circle Near Lot 11: Trim trees up 5', add bark

4) Old Timber Court - Trim Trees. Remove ground Shrubs, sod add Bark

5) York Ridge - Trim Trees, add Bark.

6) Charleston Court: (Has Sprinkler) remove rocks, edging and ground shrubs. Sod, Bark, and flowers near sprinkler.
